This month time wise has been much better than last month. I am doing Obstetrics and Gynecology at a rural site. The physician I am working with is very nice and encourages me to be more confident than I actually am. I am freaking out over the whole graduating soon thing. I think he can recognize that I am scared witless inside and continues to encourage. I am living in a home located next to the hospital most nights. He does give me the weekends off and I don’t have to be on call. I have chosen to go in for deliveries though. Ridiculous not to when its about a 50 ft walk to the hospital.

This weekend I went with my parents to my grandpa’s house. He is turning 91 this week. He spent some of the morning taking a long walk with me and his dog. Later he decided to employ help with working in the garden. At 91 though, he did a lot of the work himself. Its really amazing and I hope I can live in as good of shape as him at 91. His garden has multiple spring flowers blooming. He cut these daffodils and gave them to me from one of the many flower beds.
