I got a weekend off finally. We went to the basketball game yesterday so I thought I would share some pictures from there.

This guy was sitting one section over from us. He was showing his MountainEER pride by wearing his big EERS. Nice. Very nice!

This picture makes me smile because of a little girl in it. Click on the picture to make it larger and look at the girl located to the right at the top of section 62. She danced (full energy dance) everytime music was played. It didn’t matter what music. The band, the radio, the hype music for the team, she danced. What a cutie!

It has been a very long weekend for me. And, I still do not have a day off for a while. I made small cakes this evening. They are not as pretty as these, but they still made me happy to make them. I should be running instead of adding calories into my life.

I have been working on this scarf for a while. I believe it will miss yet another winter. That is ok. This one will be kept a long time. I like it, but more importantly, it has taken forever. I finally got the wheel back in working order (had some joint break but ashford sent me a new part for free.) Now I am woking on more of the purple. I will use most of the purple on this scarf. The white is from a fleece my dad bought my mom. It is the softest wool. This will be comfy for next winter.

Knitting in our weather right now is heavenly. Our ground and roads are covered in snow and we have had below freezing temperatures. Its pretty but cold. Schools have been closed due to the temperature (roads were fine through this afternoon.) No such luck for Justin or I. I will not see snow days anymore. I dont think Justin will see many. I think WVU only closed for 3 days total during our undergrad years.

Today I went downtown in the freezing weather to try a photogrpah of the mountaineer statue. The sun was out. I thought the sun would make for a great picture but found that I need to go with the sun out in the evening. The best way to photograph the statue today was from the backside, not as attractive. This is one picture I got. I had to adjust the color a bunch on this picture.
